I've always had a interest in photography both professionally and as a hobby. It's always come in handy for images for work and as inspiration.

I also use whole images or parts in my other design work. Particularly as textures for backdrops in Interactive Design

It's also particularly useful for general design work as I know what to look for and have an understanding of what makes a good photo for your design solution.
